About
Jim Orbe is a Bible teacher and ordained minister who is passionate about helping people see the beauty and coherence of Scripture. His teaching focuses especially on the character of God as revealed in Jesus Christ and on the unfolding story of redemption from Genesis to Revelation.
Jim approaches the Bible with deep respect for its authority and unity. He believes that Scripture is best understood when its individual passages are interpreted within the broader narrative of the entire canon. For him, theology is not merely an intellectual exercise but a way of knowing God more deeply and experiencing the transforming power of His grace.
His work explores themes such as the character of God, the cross of Christ, the biblical sanctuary, and the great controversy between good and evil. Through sermons, studies, and research papers, he seeks to show how these themes form a coherent and Christ-centered picture of the gospel.
Jim serves in ministry while also working professionally in the medical laboratory field. He is an independent ordained minister and a member of the National Association of Christian Ministers. His teaching reflects a Seventh-day Adventist theological perspective while seeking to engage Scripture carefully and faithfully.
Jim lives in Nevada with his wife, Tanya, and their family. Together they share a desire to follow Christ and to serve others. He and Tanya were married in 2023 and are raising three sons: Zak, Saj, and Tanner.
This site serves as a collection of Jim’s sermons, Bible studies, research papers, and teaching resources for those who desire to explore Scripture more deeply and to know God through His Word.
